Gerko Washi masking tape is a tape uniformly coated with acrylic adhesive with unique properties. It takes its name from Washi, a paper first made in Japan. Although thin, because of its texture it has very good tape-on-tape performance and is suitable for fine and straight lines in automotive and professional housing applications.
- Suitable for waterbased and solventbased paints
- Very good adhesion to all surfaces, including all plastics and rubbers
- Flexible and can therefore be applied in soft curves so that no fine line tape has to be used
- Presents perfect wet removability at 15, 30 and 60 minutes after
- pplication of paint on walls
- Very good oven resistance and does not change colour or leave adhesive residue
- Gives excellent paint break line
- Also extremely suitable for painters and plasterers
- Is also sometimes called rice paper or fine line tape
- Temperature resistance: 60 min at 120°C
- Adhesion to steel: 5 N/25 mm
- Thickness: ≤90 microns
- Solvent and water resistant
- UV-resistant
