Gerko double-sided sanding sponges are designed for manual sanding and matting of edges and contours of panels that cannot be sanded by machine. They are easy to use on contoured surfaces without risk of sanding through edges and provide an excellent surface finish.The thick foam texture absorbs hand pressure to prevent marks and deep scratches left by ordinary abrasives with harder backing.
Sponge FINE - BROWN performing grit P320-500. Recommended for sanding electrophoretic coatings and old paintwork. Sanding and preparation for primer application.
Sponge SUPERFINE - GREEN performing grit P600-1000. Recommended for sanding electrophoresis coating and old varnish layers. Sanding of primers in preparation before basecoat application.
Sponge MICROFINE - BLUE performing grit P1000 / 1500. Recommended for preparation of varnished surfaces. Matt finishing of clear coats.
